The Super Senior Pennant team began their quest for another title on Monday with a hard fought 5-3 win over Bayview at Roseville.
On a tight layout with tricky greens, solid wins by Tony Pagliaro, Charlie Yun, Des Harvey and Russell Lambert, and gutsy halved matches from Paul Scuglia and Ian Cochrane, all contributed to the winning result.
In a season that will run until late September, the team’s next assignment is against North Ryde at Bayview at 11.00am next Monday.
