Castle Hill Juniors Conquer Massey Park! ⛳️

What a day for the Castle Hill Junior Golf team at a tough away fixture against Massey Park! Every player showed incredible resilience and fighting spirit. Massive shoutout to the team for the grit, determination, and sportsmanship!

Group 1: The Ultimate Comebacks

  • Parker & Joey battled two much older competitors, refusing to quit even when behind.
  • They fought back repeatedly to square off their matches!
  • Joey sealed the deal with a clutch win! Never give up!

Group 2: The Future is Bright!

  • Hayley (just 8 years old!) showed the boys how it’s done, leading from the front. She was out-driving and showing an incredible short game! Hayley closed out her match early.
  • Aidan’s match went right down to the wire, earning him an amazing, memorable victory on the very last hole!

Group 3: Precision & Epic Fights

  • Ethan was pure class—solid all day, with sharp pin-hunting from 70m in. He secured a massive win of 6&4!
  • John Carlos proved the power of belief! Down 4 early, he bounced back with the mantra, “It’s okay, I never give up.” His 60-degree wedge was on fire as he battled all the way back to win by 2! Unbelievable performance!

A fantastic effort and all games played in truly great spirit. So proud of this team!

Next week Castle Hill will host Division 2 & Division 6 competitions – with twelve teams coming to our fantatsic course.

The teams will be teeing off from around 1140am Sunday 26 October and we hope to have lots of home club support.

Today’s Division 2 Encourage Shield Round was hosted by North Ryde Golf Club with the CHCC Green Team playing North Ryde at home.

All six of our players gave away 9 to 11 shots to the home team.

It proved to be a bit of a rough but exciting day out there.

We started well and we’re looking good with Farmaan, Sammie, Rebecca and Connor taking leads through the front 5 or 6 holes.

Giving away an extra shot on several of the Par 3’s in some cases made a par just not good enough.

The match came down to the 17 th hole with Farmaan needing to win her contest to square the match.

In the end our three points were earned with wins from Connor 7/5, Rebecca 5/4 and Farmaan 3/1.

Well done to Sammie, Jake and Warren who all fought hard today.

A big thank you to Dylan McDonald (& Rod)for their support today.

It’s great to have so many parents, siblings and JDC member Gareth follow the team and show their support.
