Golf Australia CONNECT
Posted on: 11 September
Dear Members,
Golf Australia is undertaking a major digital transformation that includes the transition away from the 25-year-old GolfLink platform to Golf Australia CONNECT.
The new Golf Australia CONNECT platform will provide enhanced technology services to more than 1,900 golf clubs and venues, and Australia’s (450,000 +) golf club members. Amongst other functions, the platform will incorporate handicapping, club services, affiliation fee management and collection, a booking system and a new Golf Australia app.
A part of the transitioning process will involve the shutdown of Golf Link. Late evening on 28th September, 2025, GolfLink will be shutdown with no access from golfers or administrators. Because of the shutdown, Golf Australia has strongly recommended that golf clubs DO NOT schedule any handicap events for a period of 2 weeks. What this will mean is that whilst we will still be playing the regular handicapped competition events during this shutdown period, players’ handicaps will not be adjusted. Handicaps will be frozen from September 28th for a period of 2 weeks.
We shall be providing more information regarding this new platform as it becomes available.
Kind Regards
Tony Cruise Brenden Ellam
