Women’s Pennant Teams results from Friday 30th May – 2 wins & draw

Silver 11 Pennant Round 4 The team headed to Avondale to play Wakehurst on Friday 30th bringing home a drawn result. Well played to our Players this week Sunok Meung, Pam MacDonald (Field Captain), Lorna OBrien, Naomi Tsurumi, & Jina Song. Illness & injuries meant last minute changes so big thank you to Jina for stepping in & playing this week.
Bronze 11 Pennant Round 3: Our team had a chilly early start in boggy conditions at Cumberland, but they finished a beautiful sunny day with a strong win 3/2 to Muirfield.

Bronze 111 Pennant Round 5 The Team took the short drive to Killara to play the undefeated team of Muirfield & finished with a powerful win, with all 5 of our players victorious. Big shout out to Cindy Gao, who has been playing golf for less than 12 months & turned up to play her 1st game of Pennants & matchplay & she finished her game 1 up. Team players Kerrie Hammond, Linda Chan, Chris Amery & Field Captain Sheila Ryan. Sheila has done a fabulous job in her role as Field Captain organising practice matches each week, keeping all players up to date with course changes & supporting this team. Huge thankyou to Sheila from the Women’s Committee.
