Member Testimonials
"In the 5 years I have been a member at Castle Hill Country Club, I have had many great experiences and have learned a variety of things from my coaches and the friendly golfing partners I have played with, in relation to both golfing skills and course etiquette. Many opportunities have been opened up to me as a result of my club membership. I have played in a number of Pro-Ams where I have met and teamed with both male and female professional golfers, some of whom have toured on the professional circuit, and I have enjoyed playing in the Sunday competitions, partnering numerous other members from the Club. I have played night golf which I found thrilling and extremely challenging and I have been a regular participant in the 9-hole Junior Summer Competition offered by the Club on Monday and Thursday afternoons.
I have also had the opportunity to represent Castle Hill Country Club in the Girls’ Encourage Shield Team and in a variety of tournaments organised by the Jack Newton Foundation, including the City West Series and the State Championships, enabling me to play on a variety of courses both across Sydney and in regional areas. As a result of my membership at Castle Hill, I have met many amazing people and I have made wonderful friendships. Not only have I been encouraged to challenge myself to improve my golfing skills and lower my handicap, but I have also been offered many great opportunities. To date, my experience as a junior member of Castle Hill Country Club has been both rewarding and exciting. "

"I really enjoy playing golf at Castle Hill with my Dad & my mates. As a junior member I enjoy the great facilities for young golfers to come along and feel very welcome and to be part of a great club. I love turning up, with everyone saying hello with a smile on their face, including members & all the great friendly staff at Castle Hill. Friends are made through golf, like myself as a junior I have made a lot of friends and I love playing & meeting new people. My dad and I will keep on playing golf as it is a great golf course. But not just the golf course the people are great I look forward to playing in all the junior golf events the club organises. Being a member of a Castle Hill also lets me play in competition rounds at other courses which I also really enjoy. Thanks to everyone at Castle Hill Country club for making the experience so enjoyable."

Ps. I Love the free chips in the clubhouse after my round.
"I have been a playing member at CHCC since 1997. Recently my eldest son Jack ( 12 years old ) has also joined the golf club as a junior member. The opportunity to play with Jack & watch him develop his golfing & social skills at such a young age is very satisfying. The development programs and clinics the club runs for sub cadet, cadet & juniors are extremely helpful and very well run."

" I had never played golf before when my husband enrolled me in the Ladies Golf Clinics at CHCC - little did he know how much I would embrace this new sport. At the conclusion of the clinic I decided to take advantage of the wonderful ladies promotion and in mid-November 2004 I played my first game and have continued playing regularly on Mondays and Thursdays at CHCC since then. As a new member and not knowing anyone else at the club, I was delighted by the warm welcome as well as the guidance and assistance given by many lady members to a very raw and inexperienced “newbie”.
Over the 5 years I have seen continual improvements to the course – from new greens on the 1st and 5th holes, the stone dam wall and the new bridge on the 18th, the improved creek/hazard on the 13th and ongoing upgrading of bunkers – it is a visually delightful course and very challenging but never boring to play. The club’s practice facilities are excellent – it is great to be able to warm up on the practice range and practice chipping and putting prior to your game.
With the help of David Northey, our head professional, my golf has improved enormously and I have been proud to represent Castle Hill in Bronze I and II Pennants, and the NSW Womens Golf Bronze Salver in 2008 and 2009. Last year I was delighted to win the Summer Cup 2008, the Veterans Brooch and also the NSW Womens Golf No. 2 Division medal. Wonderful friendships have been formed over these 5 years. I have served on the Ladies Friendship Day committee this year and now look forward to being elected Vice Captain on the Ladies Committee at the upcoming AGM. "
